The two sided lines usually run in the same direction in reference to the rolled stock before blanking and reflects a similar orientation on the obverse and reverse after strike. Thanks, Doug. Last night was going through coins I had put aside months back, found this one I had labeled it "Woodie?"... Found a post on another 80's coin that they thought was a "woodie"... This is how I found out about roller lines, didn't know much about them prior to last night! It looked like roller lines, but does still have a finish on it, so the lines were light looking...was hard to get pics of the roller lines when the light was in certain angles or I was too far or too close to the coin. I will keep for now, as an example of roller lines ;) Thanks for the input! Report this Post to the Staff
