Here's one that I can't seem to make up my mine on. It's a nice deep chocolate colour, has great rims and only one real noticeable mark that's on the portrait, I look at it and see VF sometimes and EF other times. Is the EF just wishful thinking or does it have a shot? Cheers, Bill   |

Personally I would say VF-30, but EF-40 could be possible depending on what grading standards you use.

I'd say it's XF-40 wear-wise with a couple environmental spots. It will depend on which TPG for your Obv 2. It appears to be a bit convex on the Obv side, because the leaf tips show almost no wear while the portrait hair shows some. |

Looks XF to me too. To me it has good eye appeal regardless.

EF to me as well, don't believe the scratch will hold it back.

VF 35 as well. Mostly from the hair wear. Nice die break on A of Gratia.

With the exception of 2 Obverse dies, all 1892 Obv 2's had a broken bottom serif on the N in Regina .. as this one does. Once the Obv 3's started there was a full footed N, the neck dimple was a little different and you had the long cross-members on the middle of the E's. The op coin is an Obv 2.

Even better! Obverse #2 worth more money. I'm firm on vf 35 tops. Regardless of grade it's a beauty this coin and the eye appeal shows it
