a curious factoid (that I hope is a trend): the last three FRN scores that were larger than $1 were $10. |

great find MrPink - that note looks like it was a 'back pocket' drop as somebody pulled out their hand and released this one into the wild. |

last night I picked $1.80 and tonight I picked $1.73, all well-scattered change. among tonight's finds was a decent 1951-D LWC. |

It's been asserted that Lincoln cents 'end up' in the trash. Perhaps dumpster diving could yield bucket loads of 'em. If you pass by any dumpsters in or near apartment and condo complexes, dig in...

Perhaps dumpster diving could yield bucket loads of 'em. that's an endeavor that is beyond my capabilities & desire. although it's been a year or two since it was last spoken about on here, there is at least 1 company that extracts coins from refuse. it's quite an operation. If you pass by any dumpsters in or near apartment and condo complexes, dig in... nope, i'll stick with just picking up coins from the ground. picking through an air-vac canister is the closest i'd get to actual dumpster-diving. |

Great finds, MrPink! My walk along the streets of my hometown this morning produced just a solitary 2003 British penny: |
