@GL33, without answering your question, I would like to point out that this coin has a very slight mis-aligned die on the obv. It isn't offset far enough to likely add to the value, but you do have a nice example of this with this cent.

It is a small date. It is not a Denver Mint though. I believe it needs to be 1982 d small date and then weigh it. Yours appears to me as a P Mint hopefully an expert can clarify this better for you.
