Yep, I collect them and like them.
Has anyone put a page 6 (2018-2027) in a Dansco 7166? It looks like it may be a tight fit.

I collected them. I recently pulled out my coin collection and realized that I stopped collecting in 1977. Got a lot of holes to fill for a coin that is rarely seen in circulation any more.

If the covers slant inwards toward the side edge it should fit. If they are parallel then likely not. You can always get a bigger binder or just start a second album. I started with an 8166 (includes proofs) that had four pages. Once it was filled I got a four page album with blank half dollar pages instead of moving to a bigger binder. Now I have two, full four page albums and working on a third. I cannot imaging having six of these heavy pages in one album, let alone eight (which is what the biggest Dansco binder will hold).

Thanks for your thoughts jbuck You reinforced what I thought I should do. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an option unknown to me. I think a blank binder or even another Kennedy binder would be great, then just buy pages as I need them.....maybe put page 5 and 6 in the new binder. Thanks again

Now there are getting to be too many varieties if you want to get them all. But if you are going to only do business strikes you'll prolly be OK.

Yup, the 7166 is traditional P&D Business strikes and that is going to be the safest/cheapest route to maintain.

Quote: Now there are getting to be too many varieties I limit my collection to the business and clad and silver proof strikes. they've come out with so many varieties, satin finish, enhanced finish, reverse proof ect. that I'd go nuts (and broke) trying to keep up with everything. They even managed to sneak in a gold issue. Who knows what they'll come up with next - upside down, inside out, perhaps a special Camelot set in 2020 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Kennedy's inauguration and the debut of the musical?

I have three sets of those in Whitman Albums. Mostly all from change until no one uses them anymore. Now I've got to buy them at coin shows just to keep the series going. Not a big fan of those but since I collect all US coins, just have to have those sets complete.

That's Funny, jbuck, I ended up getting a page 6 and a bigger binder. It will be heavy but not too bad as it is only for P&D coins. I kinda wish I went with the broader series but that's not the only mistake I've made collecting coins.

For those who are in the central NJ-USA area, this morning I dropped off 5 rolls of Kennedy halves at the Wells Fargo in Bordentown NJ. I also gave them 5 rolls approx 2 weeks ago. These were cut from Mint sets that I didn't have a use for. Mostly 1970s and 1980s. If by chance you are into Susan Bs, they also have a 100 of those.
