Purchased several coin sets-S. Francisco Mint-, sealed in original packing. Found several coins with possible errors, being: A 1973 Kennedy coin with an irregularly opened "R" in the word "TRUST", a 2004 Kennedy coin with a faded "E PLURIBUS UNUN" motto; a 2006 Colorado Quarter with a faded "L" in the word "COLORADO"; a 2006 Sacagawea dollar having the designer's initials garbled; and a 2007 Washington Dollar having a chipped edge rim. I am new in coin collecting shall appreciate guidance. Pictures attached
On the TRUST, the 'R' maybe from a chipped hub or an isolated die polishing. (I'm leaning more towards a hub issue as the rest of the devices don't look reduced, just that one device) Looks like some isolated areas of Struck Through Grease issues. The area marked chips is coin damage not die damage. EPU area just looks weak. This area is frosted and during that process that area may have been weakened. I see nothing warranting a premium. No hub doubling (doubled dies present) The fields don't show extreme die flow, so it is not an aged die.
