1809 Half Cent, C-6, PCGS AU Details, rotated reverse

(PCGS doesn't seem to know anything about planchet defects, and bagged it with ED. Most of the EAC members I've shown it to straight-grade it around a net 50.)

A beat-up 1809 S-280 Large Cent, has been treated with Verdi-Care since these photos and then given a light brushing. Not the prettiest, but it was a cherrypick at $10.00 along with an 1811 which I'll post on its "due date."

1810 Classic Head Large Cent. S-285.

Smooth planchet, with uneven wear/strike. A few nicks and dings.

Reverse is stronger than the obverse.

It's not the sharpest coin but the color and surfaces more than make up for that in my opinion...
