Quote: Should the guess be based upon an unslabbed or slabbed coin and how would this criteria change if any picture does not clearly show the presence or not of a slab? Even if a slab is clearly present, as in the current case, was the coin purchased slabbed or slabbed after purchase? Like jbuck said, it's all part of the game and that's what makes it difficult, but fun.

Like jbuck said, it's all part of the game and that's what makes it difficult, but fun Concur - the fun challenges in this game - in order to guess the price, include; guess the date/mm/denomination (not so easy for the occasional ancient or foreign coin offered), guess the grade based on photos provided, goes the market price at time of published acquisition and finally guess the price. It's a wonderful, multilayered challenge which we truly enjoy - and as a series champion on a few occasions I truly tip my cap to our tremendous host jbuck for all of the efforts to herd the cats and keep this best of all internet coin games on track for another season.
