I recv'd this nickle as part of a complete Nickle Collection 1938-2015. I only paid $15 from estate in binder and most are in very nice condition. This one I believe to be AU-BU front steps visible but not a good DIE STRIKE from Mint. Please see if you agree and what would you grade this? Any Errors?=Thanks Again you are all fantastic help!
Weight might be helpful for the weakness of some areas of the strike.
The images show more now than what I saw the first time. Looks like the die was way over polished, just a few hundred thousands more coins and the die flow is setting in. It is an issue with an over polished die. Just a spender unless you want to save it as an educational piece for a new collector you run into.
