Good question. I looked it up on my SWPMC and the image is exactly the same as your note with no indication that its a glitch (or printer's oversight/error). The 60 Commemorative Taka note, printed in 2012, (honouring the Language Movement in Dhaka) is so different you'd think that different printers produced them. And there is only one English 60 Marker. |

Thanks walk2dwater. I remember posting a little while back about the Bangladeshi banknotes' poor quality, the Bangladesh Bank got scammed for millions a few years ago due to their lack of security. Re-using paper with different watermarks, no real security features etc. Here is another commemorative note I have, "100 years of the Bangladesh National Museum" 100 taka (2013), you honestly could print these things off at home. Not that I am in any way advocating doing that of course  I would rank this banknote as one of the worst I've ever purchased    |
