Both have very informed people and uninformed people. The ebay clientele is obviously much larger, but the difference is at the shops/shows we don't have the internet to be able to see what happens. Don't get me wrong there are some good and honest dealers out there that can be trusted and are a value to their clients. That said the whole selling fakes/cracking out details coins/hype machines etc are by no means unique to the internet/eBay nor is it unique to the internet/eBay buyers to fall for it.
