I came across this coin that looks like it could be spitting eagle error. I need your expert advice. If it is authentic would it have any potential value.

A spitting eagle is just a clashed die error, it's not really a die variety. While the line on your coin may be from clashed dies, it's not the same as most that I've seen. The line should be in the same shape as Washington's throat and be raised to one side. It looks like the line on your coin is incuse. Here's an overlay. You can see where the clash should be and the correct shape.
Using the overlay, do you see any other areas showing die clash?

On most clashed die Washington quarters you can see the line both above and below the eagle's beak.
