I don't believe the 1943 cents can have a lamination, because it is a zinc plated steel core coin.

Cound be lamination or it could be strikethrough. I think strikethrough is more likely. For some reason many people seem to think that a coin has to be an alloy to be able to have a lamination and that isn't true.

Could a different coin have struck it or die because I see I see a tint of blue and copper throughout the obverse. Or can steel pick up those colors on its own?
