1943 P Nickel - Transitional Copper? Weight 4.81 Grams

I received this coin from a family member. It is a 1943/ P Nickel that weights 4.81 Grams. The mint mark (large P) is located on back above the building.It has gray color with blue green tint. Could this be a transitional copper nickel?

Any information you can provide is appreciated.

You know it's 35% silver, as far as the weight...it might have been rolled thin along with wear, I feel it's a normal wartime nickel

Normal nickel with normal circulation wear. But it's still silver and a keeper.

This sort of look is common for the "silver" war-time nickels. Not copper.

What makes you think this is a copper war time Nickel ? As said above it is 35% silver . Also 56% copper and 9% manganese .
