Now that I feel more competent in my photography, I wanted to revisit this coin, and will be doing the same with some of the best specimens I own, especially since I am preparing to send off some coins for grading soon.

This is the most beautiful Toned Lincoln I have ever owned.

The line running N-NE from the E in LIBERTY is a die scratch

It is very nice, I like it! 63BN

You can convey the coin just fine with less pictures. Out of all of them only two were useful to me as a grader. If you want to show off the toning - learn how to angle your camera and/or light and take full coin pictures. The close-ups are just annoying unless we're looking at a variety.

Example to show the color with the whole coin. All I do is some angle work - no post-processing except to resize.

I agree with you on the toning. I'm not a fan of toning but this is even across the surfaces and enhances the coin. this one may not be worth slabbing unless it comes back at 65 or higher. I think its MS64+. sharp strike on both sides, very minor abrasions and the nice toning I think are better than a 63 coin
