Look what I found yesterday... It's worth something right? What do I do next? The pictures bad I ordered a coin microscope but it's coming from China so it could be another week before it gets here.

I made a mistake about the D mint but I don't understand how come it's not a Double Ear? Is that part of his beard or something?

Looks like it took a hit to me. Use the search box,upper left of page and type in doubled ear.

Compare it with another cent that year. You will see the the lobe is the same size, but a contact mark (damage) to that area altered a normal coin. What makes a doubled ear? Not contact. It is on the die. All the doubled ears are raised, not incuse. The incuse mark on the die will leave a raised lobe area on the coins. Want to know why that is true? Look at several of them together:

Sorry, doesn't look even close to the 1988 doubled ear. Just a circulation hit.
