1978 D Penny. Wondering About The Marks On Right Side

Also about that D, it's not an error, but occasionally mintmarks can be slightly rotated or misaligned. Prior to 1985, they were all hand punched into the master dies. Slight discrepancies like this can occur, but rarely (unless extreme enough) do they demand a premium. YGP Report this Post to the Staff
