Weight -2.5 gram On both sides I can see the image poke through. More clear on the obverse, but agree this is a error? Thanks! *was hard to get a better picture to show more detail

@hermz, yep nice so-called "Prisoner Cent"--worth putting in a 2x2.

Thanks everyone. Was excited when I seen it. (:
Question; anyone ever use the plastic type circular holders that have a foam gasket to snug the coin in? Don't want to get off topic to far but I've been using those and it seems maybe 2x2 holders are better as that's what everyone has suggested.

Nice Obv & Rev clash. 2x2 cardboard flips works perfect for most coins.

Great find and nice Die Clash! I use non PVC 2x2 flips. You can buy them off of ebay, if you don't want your coins to get PVC residue on them.
Errers and Varietys.

Thanks for the input, I believe these holders I use are pvc free but will invest in some 2x2 after the apocalypse is over. But anyway as for now this beauty is no longer in circulation

Thanks rob, will check that website out. Was thinking maybe the plastic holders I use could damage coins and that's why people don't prefer them.

I honestly don't know what the foam in those round holders may or may not do to a coin, but generally I think 2x2 holders are used for other reasons. First, they make it easy to label the coins. Which a straight coin all you need is to be able to see it, but with an error or variety you need to be able to label what it is. So having some white space to do that is really helpful. Second, cost. Storage stuff for coins can get expensive so keeping things down on a per coin basis is helpful. Last, organization. Every Sunday morning I file the doubles I've found during the week. This would be a real mess in anything but easy to deal with 2x2's, where I can easily see what's what and just stuff them into the doubles files correctly. Shown is what I'm talking about. Hope this helps. I really like that clash you found, as it's an excellent example, and having it stored well and with a label will be helpful to you down the road to keep it safe and be able to locate it when you want to pull it out for a look.

Thanks tropicalbats, Will have to get some because it would be very nice to write on the outside what they are for organization. Hopefully they're safe to use as advertised(ordered off Amazon), but they don't say they're free of pvc. So ..
