I can't see any signs of cleaning, although I did give it an acetone dip for about 10 minutes today. It has a lot more luster than these pictures show (it was a very cloudy and gloomy day today).

I'm at EF-40, guessing flashback may be the culprit as far as the reverse cleaning is concerned.

XF40 too much light to accurately tell if it was cleaned. to me it has the metal flatness of a polish on the high points of the hair around the face and the lower 1/2 of the wing
