Difficult choice but here are a few of mine! The coin that started it all for me - getting this 1874 penny in change when I was a youngster: The coin I always wanted - 1847 Gothic crown: One of the first foreign coins I ever got - 1942D dime: I love French coins and this is one of my favourites (Rooster 20 francs), and I remember saving up to get it from a coin shop in Lille:

No problem! I am glad you found it (since it was a different forum from where yours was).

@hfjacinto, while I really and truly appreciate the offer, I would feel safest not handing out any more information than I have to. I don't believe you have any intentions that are not pure and kind, but you never know with the internet, so I think for now I'll leave it how it is. I hope there are no hard feelings and I can't wait to keep learning from you guys!!

Easy! It's this one (even if I still disagree with the grade). Just has such a beautiful design and toning.

@NumisRob: Wonderful 1847 Gothic crown! Quite the rarity! How long have you had it in your collection?
