jbuck Moderator United States 190391 Posts	Posted 04/16/2020 3:25 pm Look really close at the black spot in the A on the reverse. That is were I suspect the verdigris has eaten through the plating. If I am wrong, then you might want to try Verdi-Care. Once a coin gets to the state yours is in the best course of action is to put it in a 2x2 and leave it alone. Any moisture from any type of chemical will hasten the zinc rot. Fin New Member United States 42 Posts	Posted 04/30/2020 2:18 pm I have never seen a slab with the words, "Properly Cleaned." I have never seen a slab with the words, "Properly Conserved." I have seen many slabs with the words, "Improperly Cleaned." Is there even any way to find out if you have a coin that has been properly conserved or properly cleaned? Report this Post to the Staff
