I kind of like the toning on this , not my photos and I tried to adjust them as best I can. this coin grades straight MS-62
I am not sure what would cause this toning but I kind of like it. Thoughts ?
They are asking 229.00 to much but have a best offer option so may explore that.

The splashes of blue help, but personally I don't find it attractive. I certainly wouldn't pay a premium for that toning.

That's a coincidence. Just about 30 minutes ago I was looking at ebay and saw this 1884 with almost the same toning. I wasn't to thrilled with the toning and passed and see now that the auction ended, nobody placed the opening bid of $34.95 so it didn't sell.

The splotchy toning has a negative effect on eye appeal.
I would pass on this piece.

The coin looks original and has a $150 dollar value. Do not pay premium for the toning as it may be a negative on resale.

I'm not a big fan of this type of toning.

If a TPG put this at MS-62, I think it may be undergraded. Luster looks full and I don't seem much in the way of distracting marks. Looks more like MS-64. Might, however, be something hiding in the darker areas.

Lots of chatter on that cheek and the fields. I think it is properly graded.

Toning didn't appeal at first glance, but the flat lighting from the dead-on camera angle probably doesn't help with that.

As I began exploring the pattern, however, I found it interesting. I suspect it looks much better in person.
