I would not bid on the coin as I would want to use a major coin auction house or a coin dealer that deals in high end gold coins for a high end purchase. Report this Post to the Staff

Zurie Pillar of the Community United States 5689 Posts	Posted 05/18/2020 6:30 pm It looks genuine, and the cert number matches the NGC database. But you would think with this kind of coin, they would take the time to get some expert photos, and maybe even get it reholdered to remove any doubt. It sold for 30K add 25% 7500, ship it yourself or pay storage fee, this state add 6-1/2% tax if no resale license ($2437) so... $39,937.50 and the shipping issue.
