How Bad/Big Can This Company Get? Description Exaggeration With No Limits!

coinworldtv Pillar of the Community Austria 566 Posts	Posted 07/09/2020 6:27 pm I have red a lot of crap from that company and had a lot of laughs, but now seeing them calling an average circulated and AU55 certified coin a "admirable clarity of design resulting to the higher points, a semi-Prooflike characteristic to the surfaces enabling clear reflectivity across the fields" just brings numismatics to another level of unprofessional behaviour. How far will this company go? Where are the limits of exaggeration on a clearly circulated average low-grade piece? What do you think? Numis-Northerner Pillar of the Community Canada 857 Posts	Posted 07/09/2020 9:13 pm PCGS really isn't the best at grading much outside of US stuff, and even then I often find their grades to be 'off'. swamperbob Pillar of the Community United States 5362 Posts	Posted 07/10/2020 10:24 pm I agree that the grade is high - I might say Extra Fine using US standards but there are problems with this one. Good advice would be to buy the coin NOT the grade as shown. There was a time when a coin with what looks like corrosion in the dentils under the denomination would return in a body bag.
