purelywasted Pillar of the Community Canada 1505 Posts	Posted 02/21/2021 5:27 pm I could probably do a "one box saved from the fire", as in I could only save one box. Otherwise it is an interesting idea, but I would struggle on 20. An interesting idea to think about, as I slowly start to get rid of all the doubles/tripples/junk/etc... excess stuff. I still collect the most recent mintages for completion sake, but it does not really excite or interest me. I just go through the motions to get them. mrpapageorgio Pillar of the Community United States 669 Posts	Posted 02/21/2021 10:15 pm TBH I have thought about this, but instead of 20 coins, just doing it by using a certain box and collect until the box got full, then sell off the overflow. Since I collect the proof silver eagles (with only the 1995-W proof evading me), 20 coins would be impossible. Right now, I'm going off a lot of Kondo's "Does it spark joy" question. There's a couple items I'm considering selling since they don't have much sentimental or other joy when I see them and with silver going up, may be better off selling them to fund other acquisitions I'm interested in. Which I think is a pretty dumb idea. What the limiting does is make you select the best coins/best type you can get. You don't add a coin unless you take one away. This got me thinking. If I could only keep 20 coins what would they be? I took cost out of the equation because there are coins I have that are expensive and they complete a set but I wouldn't necessarily keep them in the box. So after thinking it over, here is my box of 20. To keep this thread somewhat reasonable, I am only posting the Obverse of the coin. It includes a few coins that I've wanted and a few that have some sentimental value. Lets start. The first few are just pretty coins.
