The free Maktun and Coinoscope apps on my iPhone identify this as an aluminum one paisa from Nepal, Mahendra (1966-1971), KM#748.
To decipher the exact date you could use the Creounity site

http://creounity.com/apps/time_mach....php&lang=en

(I get 1969). The second photo is upside down.

Nice tiny coin @Dakota.

I've always like the images (often mountains) and symbols (tridents, crescents, etc) on Nepal coins.

Thank you for recommending my converter!

Meanwhile, I have added that special form of "6" that looks like "E" with a long bottom "tail". Hope this will make easier further conversions :)
