Quote:That's an excellent start, Dearborn. Are you going to include the uncirculated ASE in the mint box? Thanks Gary, and yes, those would be the burnished (uncirculated) ones. I may go after the Multi coin sets first though. and the only one I may not go for would be the 95 W again.

Nice set Dearborn! If you go for the Bullion set are you going to collect the "Emergency Production" versions?

Oh my! . . Dearborn, your Silver Eagle collection is absolutely stunning—an incredible accomplishment, and your photography truly brings it to life. I'm in awe of this beautiful collection. . . Thank you so much for your military service, Sir. The flag and plaque award are such meaningful and well-deserved remembrances.

I can't believe this post hasn't been added to since October 2023. I thought this was added to every time there was a new acquisition. I may be confusing this collection with GLBs.

Dearborn, to make your Silver Eagle collection complete, you need one of these.. . . . . No one will ask you why the 2009 Coin slot is missing...

I've been looking at the NGCX MS-10 Silver Eagles. I may pick some up just to have in my collection.

Here's what I found:
NGCX: This is NGC's new 10-point grading scale, which is easier to understand for new collectors familiar with other collectible industries that use a 10-point system. 10: On the NGCX scale, 10 is the highest grade. It signifies a perfect, pristine coin with no imperfections visible at 5x magnification, similar to a 70 on the traditional Sheldon scale.

Thanks Gary, So the " new " system is One Seventh the Sheldon Scale, In terms of Grading, Also They " look " @ the coins with Half the Magnification as Say Others that grade with a 10X's magnification, ) ngc, pcgs, icg etc ). Correct? As the Daniel Carr version of The American Silver Eagle 2009, Nice having the " option ", Nice looking Proof too. I am interested in Every Single Mint Marked Version The United States Mint's manufacture. I am a Huge fan for Other mints, Just Not for an Established American Iconic coin as the ASE'S, Collect Away....
