Hi

I'm having issues with my phone camera right now but will post a pic of the observe/reserve tonight with my partner's phone when she's home.

For now I was able to take pictures of the ear with my microscope including one picture as zoomed out as possible.

Does this look like ear doubling? I appreciate your input on this one.

Hello, is there anyway to add arrow or the likes to the specific area you are focusing on. I think that will help us help you.

Odd location for a DDO, normally they are more towards the western part of the earlobe. Might be a plating issue, have you tried depressing it with a wooden toothpick?

Here are pics of the obverse/reverse. Using a toothpick didn't alter the 'earring-like' area. The ear looks different from the dozen other 2021-p pennies I've compared it with thus far...thanks for the input.

@Oldfordman , please explain what you mean? The three pics of my latest reply are of the same coin.

The area looks too small of be a doubled die. It would need to be the same size and shape of the lobe rising above the fields and devices. Have you pushed on it with a toothpick? It maybe a gas bubble? But if you have more than one of these, that are the exact same, it might be a die issue, but not a doubled ear.
