Looking at your bigger photos. I think the bridge tokes were different, and in metal. But these are of the same era. And I had not seen them yet. Very nice.
Monarchy gold will be expensive. Metal price caught with numismatic price for many this year. Then sellers all increased price to keep premiums. At least none are going to melt.

Have you seen the ceramic coins I posted? I asked the coins shops I dealt with and only Chiado had one available recently. I can't find sells on ebay or on heritage. So pretty happy I got them.

Yes those ceramics are nice. I had not seem them before. The shop in Chiado may have some from time to time because they deal with medals. Few others care about tokens or medals. Send an email if you want advice about the shops. But tell me because I do not check often.
You should find the Maria II 1851 half crown for just a little more. I got recently the couple, gold and silver ones. Those I mentioned. Was lucky to do the shop circuit when some appeared for sale. The younger portrait is nicer. But those are much scarcer.

This Portugal trip is pretty much a cluster. Our plans was to visit family for a little than spend a few nights in Porto. When I told my mom she wanted to change her flight back so we changed our hotel to Cascais and we would pick her up on the way back. The way the trip was planned I was going to also see my mom and then go to the Chiado coin shop in Lisbon, but my mom decided to come back to the US early, so I went to plan C. I'm going to the Brothers coin shop in Porto. We are also spending a few days in Porto before coming home.
The family part of the trip is generally the part I don't enjoy , but I make the best of it. Hopefully no one will want to go with me to the coin shop. What I've learned is that you have just deal with it and make it the best. Also good food helps.

If you are still looking at coins in Porto try to look at Numisarte, I think in a shopping center. I do not know the shop personally but have seen their stock online. Not coins in as nice condition as the shop in Chiado has but it has good variety. My Joćo V half escudo was some years ago sold by them.
