If one coin has multiple varieties in one coin should the errors not all be noted ? For instance , I have a 1947 Canadian dollar pointed 7, 4 over variety which also has a double HP which is a variety of it's own .

The varieties on the 47 dollar are all known to collectors and probably adds some value but the minor stuff is just clutter on a label.

Yes, it should; but as mentioned previously you sometimes need to ask to have these noted on the holder.

Don't listen to these old dinosaurs.
If you want the 4/4 and the double HP noted on the holder, go for it.

I sent back the inverted AV and they fixed the holder , said it was a clerical error and that the Machine Doubling was not a "known" variety so would not note it . So my question is does the Machine Doubling of many letters and 50 make it rarer and more valuable? I have a 2021 Haxby guide and the price value shows vf 20 at $1800 and an EF 40 at $5000. If this coin is graded as VF30 how do I determine where it fits between 1800 and 5000?

coin trends shows a vf-20 at 2,000 and a ef-40 at 6,000. so it should retail at 4,000 good luck getting that amount , but it is a starting point.

Many times, MD will lower the value of some coins, especially higher grades because most folks want a crisp clean strike. A variety collector may give you more than a normal coin, but you'd have to shop it around.
