If it's in a straight-graded NGC or PCGS holder with attribution as an LM-2, it would likely sell at a much higher price than raw. You may prefer holding the raw coin instead of a slab, but if you're selling the coin, it's what the buyer wants that counts. Report this Post to the Staff

The dealer can help you with the counterfeit question and help you decide how to sell it. My dealer will take consignments at 15% (lower than many auctions) and guarantee a specified minimum return.
