Great Britain One Penny Queen Victoria?

Princetane Pillar of the Community 4628 Posts	Posted 02/05/2022 1:53 pm Also they were minted between 1860 and 1894 not 1800. Victoria did not even become Queen until 1837 and the early pennies of her to 1860 are copper. These bronze ones were minted in the Kabillions and used until the 1970s and this one probably spent over 100 years in use. It's from the 1860s as I can tell by the 3rd digit. It is probably as worn as humanly possible and worth around 5 cents in copper value. Interesting conversation piece though, the UK equivalent of an old Tsarist 5 Kopek coin. They are definitely authentic but I'm afraid they are of no value to a collector in this condition. As Princetane said, the bronze is worth a little as scrap metal.
