I'm semi new to this, but I have this 1956 Wheat penny with what looks to be a die crack. It's kind of hard to see so I tried to take a picture from the side. I was just wondering what everyone else thought.

It's a lamination "delamination error"

@snh, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with the above. In a sense your coin has the crack and was struck by a an uncracked die rather than being a perfect planchet struck with a cracked die. You could save this in a 2x2 if you wanted—the cost of ownership is low.

When you can look under the affected area, it is not a die crack. As mentioned it is a lamination error.
