I have a 1951 S Nickel with what looks like an inverted "s" in the Cents. I have a couple of pictures, I tired to take a clear picture (the nickel is dirty). Please advise. The first one was taken up close and the second one was from a little further away.
The perfectly normal S is still there, underneath the damage. It's just a coincidence that the rim of one of the damage craters lines up with the top of the normal S, to make the top of the S kind of look like the bottom of a backwards S.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
