Is it a error coin maybe?I checked the ridges they are not smashed in like it was hit with something so I'm curious.

It is damage of some sort.
See how the rim is flattened, that cannot happen when
a coin is struck in collar.

Yes, common practice is to post full, large and sharp images of the coin's obverse and reverse. If the coin were handed to someone at a coin show to examine, the first thing that person would do is look at the coin closely--both front and bac--before zeroing in on the feature in question.

I'm leaning towards an incomplete clip or a rim burr, but I can't tell for sure without full images of both sides, and maybe an edge image as well.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!
