I received my gift a few days ago, thank you Santa!
I think I finally figured out what to send my Santees. Just waiting for the final touch to arrive. hehe It is going to be something that seems pretty far out of their wheelhouses.
Now to wait until I send my two packages before I open my gift. lol NGL, kinda excited.

Got my gift yesterday.
A nice variety of world coins: Hungary 1906 2 filler Norway 1949 1 krone Germany 1950 F 1 mark Denmark 1924 1 ore
And the highlight are the bank notes, with some new countries for me!
Venezuela 2 bolivers Uzbekistan 100 sum Yugoslavia 50000000 and 500000000 (that's a lot of zeros) dinar.
Thank you very much!!!
I'm trying to upload pictures, but I'm having some technical difficulties. The notes are very crisp!

Friendly reminder of a rule:
# 8 You are required to Post when you receive your gift. You are not required to post a picture (nice if you do) but it is necessary that you let us know your exchange has arrived.

Well I got a package in the mail that contained some nice silver coins and a bag of shredded notes (according the the label - the note value would have been $364 if they were intact)..
I need to get some photos of them then I'll post up what I got.. Thanks, Secret Santa!!

Glad to see the Secret Santa exchange is still alive and thriving with the CCF group.
Although I only participated in a couple while active more than a few years ago, I always thought it to be a nice way to share the love of the hobby with each other during this special time of year.
Merry Christmas to everybody! I hope Santa takes good care of each of you this holiday.

Thanks, Santa, for taking a coin off my want list!! I was very pleased that Santa knows I was looking for this very coin for my collection! I am absolutely delighted! Extra coin is a bonus as well! Thank you for brightening my usual go-to postal clerk's day today when he saw your last name Claus on the package! He jokingly asked: is he using the Post Office now? No more sleigh and reindeers for him? Santa knows I have a sweet tooth! Heaps of thanks for lovely chocolates! Especially coconut ones! Indeed, it is between the US and World coin categories. Technically, the Philippines has been independent for one year when they issued these coins. The reason? They want to honor General MacArthur for liberating their islands from the Japanese rule. At the same time, I feel bad that the Philippines has not performed well ever since their independence when they could! I have meet many Filipinos and they are lovely people! Many, many thanks for these amazing silver coins! I will treasure them! Do have a blessed and joyful Christmas and the best wishes for the New Year!! To you, my Santa Claus!
