2004 Iowa Quarter - Die Break Or Scratch? Opinions, Please.

(Not showing a trench) Some think this is raised, on the intentional cut, but the metal is moved aside when the coin is cut with a knife. (The metal has to so some where on a post strike damaged coin) A closer view of the affected area might show us more on your coin? Report this Post to the Staff
