Found this 1996 P nickel. Appears to me to be a strike through error. I tried to brush the dots off, but they appear to be stamped into the coin.
Anyone have any input on this?

By the green oxide I see I presume that this coin it is a forgotten coin in a pockets then goes to the laundry. The green oxide on Nickels come in majorities of cases from phosphate which is use in laundry detergent. Second big use come from agriculture.

In any case, what cause this is not important, this coin is PMD and value a Nickel.
