CastleCoin New Member United States 44 Posts	Posted 12/13/2022 1:41 pm A funny story... Back in the 1990s there was a coin shop in the city where I lived with which I did quite a bit of business. One afternoon, I walked into the store and the proprietor offered me a bumper sticker to put on my car: "I BUY AND SELL RARE COINS AT ( XXX ) COIN SHOP" Talk about an invitation to the crooks to follow me home! I declined taking a sticker and explained why. He looked bewildered until it dawned on him. "Yeah, you're right, this is a pretty bad idea!!" I'm pretty sure he threw them all in the trash after that. Report this Post to the Staff

CarrsCoins Pillar of the Community United States 756 Posts	Posted 12/13/2022 1:46 pm lol. the other day I saw hats that said "coin collector" on them. my first thought was neat. that was followed immediately by the realization that it actually said "rob me". its a shame that we have to be so cautious about our hobby for fear of getting robbed.
