The large date is easier to see because there are several ways to id it.
1. the 7 is lower that the top of the 9 and 0
2. there is a crease in the corner of the 7
3. the loop of the 9 points down to the MM (the small date - the loop points to the center of the 7)
4. the end of the 9 is a blunt end (the small date is more pointy)
5. the 0 is tall and narrow on the large date (the small date it is round)

This Coin I Personally invested Much time Researching the Coins Details. How could a Person 100% be Certain about the 1970-S Small Date, or Large Date..... I found that On a SMALL dated 1970-S Lincoln Cent, The Main PUP I Noted Here on the CCF, was the 9. The Digit on the SMALL Date has Both Ends of the 9 POINTED. The LARGE Date Cent has Rounded Ends..................  |
