1943 Die Break Or Lamination Peel Or ?

They look a bit more like damage from these pics whereas the linear mark coming off the 9 looks like a legit die crack. I took some more photos with minimal light to see if that would help. It looks a lot to me like an image to the link "makecents" posted which by the way was very informative, image RDC-1c-1943-17, but with a piece of the lamination missing.
