AugustWind New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 07/24/2023 9:30 pm Imagine my surprise when I looked at my change and saw a really nice looking 1999 D Nickel here: only to turn it over and seeing pretty nice looking steps, only to see the gouge right in the middle of the steps and then the other gouge between 'five' and 'cents'. In addition to the hits on the reverse, the obverse is showing circulation dings as well--perhaps not as dramatic, but they're there.
