My only Large Dentils Capped Bust dime is a standard, common 1814 one. Even on mine, in an AU(55) holder, the rims get really soft. In person those are so small and toned over that even under a loupe they don't really distract. This is straight graded, and CAC even gave it the green bean (probably too generously--I don't pay CAC money for this coin), but I think auction houses tend to get more coins to CAC than individual collectors and dealers do...I still liked the coin. I love the colors and the luster on this so I can tolerate these imperfections on a high end circualted type coin.. Report this Post to the Staff
