Archeo1982 Pillar of the Community Netherlands 521 Posts	Posted 10/02/2024 4:34 pm Two weeks ago I found this nice example of Dutch medieval coinage in a field close to the Dutch city of Zierikzee. It's a small penny, the type is called "kopje" (little head) in the Netherlands and was made between 1222 - 1256. Do you have any process or procedure you follow, or is it more random? I purchased a medieval Holland coin from a detectorist in Utrecht last year.
