So this coin sits in my album and anoys me every time is see it. I have a feeling it has high grade despite its
Messy toning.
I own several blastwhite examples of this coin, but this one is hard to judge add even photograph. Luster is present all around it.
Coin is outside holder
Any thoughts am I wrong?

Needs an acetone bath to remove the ED .
Then a good treatment of MS 70 . This might to
a fun resto project !

I think its marks from rubberband on obv, thing is under 10xloupe I can se a tiny mark on the obv but nothing more not even a scratch so its unc and full of luster I suspect, fairly weak strike

so you think its pcv and not toning?

Sadly ms70 is not available here in europe neither is e-ze-st. and I havent found a good alternative

Perhaps you could make your own E-Z-Est. Here are the ingredients from the MSDS:
Sulphuric acid 1-5%
Thiourea (thiocarbamide) 3-7%
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
