This was easily noticeable. The top of the right scale pan appears to be doubled. Let me know what you think.

You know I had one of these ER quarters that may have matched one on VV but I was only able to see it in one position with particular lighting. To me it was more likely slight MD rather than a doubled die. Even if it was a doubled die, it was so slight as not to be worth it in my opinion.

I know what you mean about Doubled or slight Doubled? Which pile should I put it in? Most times I just give up on the slight Doubles and say their probably MD anyway.

Nice find!

I found one of this a while ago, I kept it, but did not check any of the website to check any match.

Nice find. =)

I remain impressed that you so thoroughly inspect a great variety of quarters.

Thanks. I often don't look at the scales themselves, just the central pole mainly. VV has a listing for that (or 3).

@ Brand: For as many as I find I'm sure I miss some. What has me stymied is I have an awful time trying to find a DDO on any denomination. I don't know if the coins with them just don't get sent to my area by pure chance or just the sheer number of people searching coins pluck them out of circulation quickly. NY, Boston, and Philly are all within a 3 hour drive of me.

Another Nice One! Seeker I'm gonna wait till you are done finding new Doubled Dies on these newer coins,
then I will re-check all of mine, to find everything I missed!

I look back at the half box I've gone through and think there's no way I'm going back through them!
