Red 1975 Penny - Red Red What Does That Mean?

Jlt2099 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 03/28/2025 02:14 am Completely new to actually checking coins for value, errors, etc. Have always been that obnoxious person who will stop traffic in the middle of rush hour to pick up a penny then trot away saying "See a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck!!" with a cheesy smile on my face while 10 people are cussing me out. Lol.. But just recently I started actually learning about coins and have become mildly obsessed with pennies. This particular one though caught my attention because I've never seen a penny this color red before. The orangey copper color, the browns and the rainbow colored coins yes. But never an actual RED penny. Good thing? Bad thing? Not a thing at all? Report this Post to the Staff
