When making inquiries about a coin, a larger clear photo of both sides of the whole coin is required. From what I can see, it just looks like damage but better photos will tell us more.

to the CCF, Evergreenst8gr8.
Your picture is so small that it's really hard to tell much about it. But is that writing to the left of Lincoln's head backwards and upside down by any chance?

To CCF! It's not an error coin. It's a Vise Job. PMD. Worth one cent. https://www.error-ref.com/squeeze-j...-garage-job/

Full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse would be welcome--helps to narrow speculation.

I apologize I will get better pictures. It won't happen again I'm new here and am appreciative of you time. And yes that is liberty upside down and backwards above the liberty and it appears to have a J in that liberty instead of T

Evergreenst8gr8, check out Earle42's method of photographing coins with a cell phone. Most of us on the CCF do it this way with great results.

As mentioned this is not a genuine mint error, it is a vise job. For future referrence it is most helpful to post images from both sides of the coin.

That looks more like a well placed stain on the surface.
