1991 Penny - Another Oddity? - Coin Community Forum

SCRelicHunter New Member United States 18 Posts	Posted 11/20/2025 7:56 pm Hey Folks, Here is another penny from my oddity stash. The yellow circle appears to show a reverse "19", the blue arrow a chin, and the red circle shows a reverse "B RTY". It appears maybe this coin flipped onto the next coin and was punched in reverse, but I am not sure if that is possible. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

This looks more like a so-called vise-job, where more than one coin is squished together and the result is that there is some design transfer between coins.
