Sharing a 1990d that I didn't remember I had , and that I must have purchased on a coin show and just place it on the error binder and never look at it again , ( I must have got it when they were chipper than now days ) , it's a double strike with the first strike centered and the second strike 40% off center , and showing de date twice and a lot more going on in my opinion but that I don't know what it's . It was hard to choose the pictures so I loaded all up .

Very nice double strike!

That smaller strike looks to be showing effects of a rim Cud.

I'd guess that the already thin layer of copper became even more thin with the second strike stretching and exposing the grey colored zinc core.

CoinHI , I agree with you that the second strike stretched the coin and exposed the Zinc color on the obverse and reverse , I can see the D under the Memorial Blg and STA under the second 1990 strike and then the normal size TES of STATES
